| I started carrying around sketchbooks when I was in junior high school, doodling whatever came to me, having my friends watch as I scribbled up little monsters in my books. Throughout high school, I took a slew of art classes with dreams of getting into a great school of design. This was where I learned to use Photoshop. I used to just play around with it during a computer-repair class I was in, but after impressing the instructor with what I could do, I was invited to join a class for web design and digital art. After graduation, I went to a local community college and put my skills to work on getting a Certificate in Graphic Design and Advertising. The advertising class I took was amazing, and I learned a wealth of information about the industry coupled with a mechanical printing class. I've done some work for a few small businesses, creating logos and revision of in-company newsletters. I enjoy a range of art styles, from street-art to classic oil work. I have a huge weakness for anything with furries, zombies, motorcycles, steampunkishness, guns and sideburns. |
