It's a damn shame that so many great attractions have had to close their doors.
The Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum...the finest collection of Mother Nature's abhorrent mistakes and a shrine to the sideshow freaks of days long gone. Closed, but not demolished...it's rotting edifice a monument to folks like myself who enjoy the twisted side of this world.
The Movieland Wax Museum...an eerie place filled with waxen, unmoving ghouls depicting the silver age of Hollywood. Shut down...with a Starbucks erected in front of it.
I like to imagine the old exhibits in these quiet buildings are still there.
